Food and Beverage Associate

About the role

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Food and Beverage Department. Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates POS register for food and drinks (includes bar register when directed).
• Prepares food and beverage items utilizing the policies and standards of the company.
• Resets and bus the food court seating area.
• Washes and dries dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils.
• Cleans and maintains refrigerators and freezers.
• Maintains proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers.
• Manages plates, cups, and other utensil inventory by the store policies and procedures.
• Conducts restroom checks and cleaning including laundry of rags.
• Responds responsively, and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and lends out the facility and equipment (karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and issues cards and credits for the arcade (AM).
• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures according to company policies.
• Sets up and takes down equipment as needed.
• Assists with inventory management and restocking.
• Ensures cleanliness and safety of the work area.

Requirements

• A High School diploma and a minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment are required.
• Experience in a bowling establishment is preferred, but not required.
• Bartending experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and outgoing.
• Must enjoy being around people and working in a fun environment.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must be 21+ if handling alcohol.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills (POS system).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Pay
