Folder Machine Operator Third Shift - Additional $3.00/hour for Third Shift!

Job Description

No experience necessary, will train candidates with some mechanical experience/aptitude. This position is Full Time Second or Third Shift, will complete training on First Shift.

Competitive wage based on experience $19.50-$21.00/hour plus shift differential

Looking for a trainable addition to join our pharmaceutical packaging team

• Set up, adjust and operate small format folding equipment
• Perform fine mechanical adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Run pharmaceutical inserts and outserts to strict quality standards, training provided
• Train to set up automatic bindery machines containing multiple functions and station capabilities (power paper cutters, power collators and gatherers, power folders, power speed binder)
• Inspect equipment for safety issues, customer and regulatory requirements using provided guidelines
• Make needed adjustments to coordinate the multiple work stations on a single machine
• Monitor quality, output and productivity, with appropriate guidance and instruction

Qualifications

• Prior experience on small folding equipment helpful but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of the set up, operating requirements, procedures, capabilities and limitations of one or more bindery machines helpful but will train
• Knowledge of the quality and machining requirements of various coated and uncoated types of paper stock helpful but not required
• Skill in setting up and adjusting machines for finishing operations and to refine such adjustments for the weight, color, machinability and quality of paper stock being used and to prevent machining impressions on the printed materials
