Folder Gluer Operator

Description

The Folder/Gluer Operator is responsible for the overall production of the machine and the quality of the work produced. Essential duties and responsibilities include setting up and operating the machine, reviewing production master for pertinent information, keeping up with production records and reporting, ensuring the efficiency of the machine and timely completion of orders, coordinating rake-off personnel, evaluating production quality, adhering to routine maintenance, troubleshooting production issues, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Prior experience on the Folder/Gluer and being in the Folder/Gluer Apprentice pool.

Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
