About the role

The Folder/Gluer Apprentice is responsible for the correct setup of the feed section of the machine and assists the machine operator with other duties. This position cross-trains in all functions and tasks related to running the folder/gluer machines in our facility. Future folder gluer operators will come from the folder gluer Apprentice pool.

Responsibilities

• Set up the feed section of the machine in a timely manner.
• Ensure sheets placed in the machine are in proper placement.
• Maintain overall quality and cleanliness of the machine.
• Assist the operator in all aspects as required during training.
• Fill in during the absence of the operator.
• Maintain overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

The starting rate is $22.78 per hour, depending on role, level, and location. Actual pay will be based on work location and factors such as skills, experience, and education.

Schedule

This role follows a 2nd shift schedule. Overtime is required.
