Foil Stamping Operator - 2nd Shift/3rd Shift

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Your Role
• Set up, operate, and maintain the foil stamping presses (104 Bobst Expert Foil, 102 BMA) that foil stamp and emboss paperboard in accordance with proof and job instructions.
• Perform in-process inspection while running job and notify supervisor of defect trends and non-conforming foil stamping and embossing quality.
• Absorb and assist die coordinator on positioning of foil/embossing dies.
• Complete foil stamping checklist for each job; collect and input plant data collection.
• Communicate clearly and precisely with internal and external customers.
• Review and follow documented procedures, job jackets, and specifications accurately.
• Perform preventive maintenance on foil stamping presses.
• Participate in the team process and consistently attentive to quality throughout manufacturing process

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Qualifications Needed
• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Minimum 1-year experience operating foil stamping equipment industry experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to frequently lift / move up to fifty (50) pounds. Ability to make adjustments on equipment as needed. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Able to read/understand English, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents
• Characteristics: Strong attention to detail. Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs. Performs well in a team environment. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
