About the role
The FOIA Analyst is responsible for processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in accordance with federal regulations and agency policies.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze FOIA requests to determine eligibility and scope.
- Research and compile relevant documents from various sources.
- Prepare responses and provide requested information in a timely manner.
- Communicate with requesters to clarify questions and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in government relations or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with FOIA and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with document management systems.
