About the role
The FOIA Analyst position provides support for the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program. This role involves assisting with responding to public requests for information, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with FOIA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in responding to public requests for information under the FOIA
- Maintain and update FOIA records and databases
- Evaluate and respond to FOIA requests efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all FOIA requests comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of FOIA requests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., government affairs, public administration, or information technology)
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting FOIA requests
- Strong knowledge of FOIA regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Qualifications
- Experience with FOIA software and databases
- Knowledge of legal research and analysis
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Pay
