Foam Board Converter

About the Role

Converts raw foam and styrene facers into production-grade substrates using equipment such as Coater Rollers, Laminators, and Table Saws. Works closely with the Foamboard Production Lead (FPL) and team members to meet inventory levels and production schedules, maintain raw material inventory, and assist in equipment maintenance. Also responsible for loading/unloading trailers, managing rack and floor space, and boxing/labelling finished kits made from Foamboard.

Responsibilities

• Operate PUR Roller Coater to apply adhesive to foam
• Use Multi-Nip Rotary Laminator to apply styrene sheets to foam
• Operate Computerized Table Saw to finish-trim completed sheets
• Use Manual and/or Electric Pallet Jack and/or Forklift
• Box and label finished Kits
• Maintain inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods
• Assist in equipment maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Load and unload trailers
• Maintain rack and floor space for proper inventory skid counts

Requirements

• High School or Trade School diploma
• Two (2) plus years of graphics industry-related experience preferred

Skills

• Basic to intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information and procedures
• Proficiency in arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
