FO Patient Coordinator for Dermatology, Mohs & Aesthetic Office

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and appointments
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance coverages
• Handle patient check-out, collecting all payments due, scheduling recalls and follow-ups, and balancing financial transactions
• Interact with patients and providers using Modernizing Medicine (EMA & PMS) systems
• Answer multi-line phone system and schedule patients
• Maintain business office inventory and equipment
• Protect patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Proficient in medical administrative support and patient care
• Experience in patient intake process, verifying and updating insurance coverages
• Experience in patient check-out process, collecting payments, scheduling recalls, and following up
• Experience in verifying and understanding insurance benefits, obtaining referrals, and managing patient intake
• Excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and staff
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus for effective patient communication
• Experience in Dermatology, Mohs, Plastic Surgery, and Aesthetic settings preferred

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and self-starting
• Self-motivated and enjoys working in fast-paced environments
• Experience in Dermatology, Mohs, General or Plastic Surgery, Ob-Gyn, or Cardiology
• Bilingual a plus

Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM - 12 PM
Must be available to work at any location on any day
