FMS Acquisition Manager

About the role

HX5 is currently seeking a FMS Acquisition Manager to join our team in Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio in support of the Foreign Military Sales Directorate.

Responsibilities

• Utilize and maintain expert knowledge in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Security Assistance (SA), technology transfer, disclosure and releasability, export/import compliance, risk management, program/project management, Total Package Approach (TPA) logistics support/sustainment, technical data management, contractor services, and training support.
• Assist in maintaining and updating program/project management documents.
• Develop standard plans and operating instructions/procedures.
• Perform financial management tasks.
• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and critical path models.
• Identify, assess, and document acquisition and acquisition logistics resource requirements.
• Evaluate and respond to Letters of Request (LOR).
• Formulate Letter of Offer and Acceptance Data (LOAD) and Manpower Requirements Packages (MRP).

Requirements

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within six (6) months of start date.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel.

Qualifications

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

• High school diploma, fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, and five (5) years of DoD experience.
• Bachelor's degree, ten (10) years of relevant experience, and three (3) years of DoD experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
