Fluid Packaging Tech - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform and record all sanitation duties as required within the fluid packaging team, including Master Sanitation Sheet (MSS) tasks, supporting the environmental program, and manual cleaning of all equipment associated with the fluid packaging team areas.
• Record all quality assurance (QA) tests and checks pertaining to the fluid packaging team areas.
• Communicate effectively through all systems and processes, including computer programs and the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) board.
• Perform and record all required tasks within the packaging team areas, including the spot pak room, box erector room, and drop packer area.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and make adjustments to the packaging machines as necessary according to the standards of the operation.
• Perform basic maintenance duties for all equipment as required.
• Ensure all duties are performed within established safety guidelines, including adhering to Safety in Motion guidelines, LOTO procedures, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Clarity, BAPP observations, and using the correct tools for the task at hand.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
• Perform data entry and user interface tasks as needed.
• Adhere to Turkey Hill’s Food Safety and Quality Principles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Work in a team environment.
• Maintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically, including starting, ending, lunch, and break schedules.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines.
• Ability to rotate and perform multiple roles within the department.
• Accountable to Turkey Hill’s Food Safety and Quality Principles.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing and walking in a manufacturing environment for 8+ hours.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
• Positioning self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
• Operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required.
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and/or push/pull 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Pay

Competitive pay is offered based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The Fluid Packaging Technician works shifts from 10:25pm to 6:30am.
