Fluid Connector I Specialist

Duties And Responsibilities

• Sells solutions and leads new product introduction with a focus on Parker Hannifin & Fluid Connector related supplies and services.
• Ensures the achievement of individual and company sales and profit goals by fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of their sales position.
• Responsible for visiting and interacting with established and prospective customers.
• Leverages the company's value offering to the customer to include Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), other newly introduced inventory solutions and web-based solutions.
• Studies company's products/services, sales techniques, and culture, under guidance of the manager.
• Ensures growth of total sales, identifies and develops new prospects, and focuses on company profit goals.
• Responds to customer needs consistent with company standards, culture, and business practices.
• Demonstrates teamwork to ensure achievement of team and company sales goals.
• Maintains sales records and generates relevant market/sales reports for company's management as needed.
• Maintains compliance with approved budgetary constraints and takes corrective action as needed.
• Leads and coordinates all installations of new Parker Programs into customers within the defined territory.
• Develops a personal business plan and opportunity funnel to establish personal annual goals.
• Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Indicates Essential Duties

• A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years outside sales experience is required.
• Applicable knowledge of the Fluid Connector Products is required.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills are also required.
• Basic computer literacy is desired.

Other Requirements

• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time may be required.
• Required travel will be daily local travel within defined territory and occasional overnight and air travel.

Compensation

Starting at $47,152 - $74,096 depending on candidate location and experience.
