Flour Mill Operator - Night shift

What You'll Be Doing
The primary duties of this job will include assisting with the setting up, monitoring and adjusting of milling equipment to ensure maximum yield while also hitting production goals. Other duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of milling equipment
- Transferring of finished flour to storage
- Housekeeping (ongoing duty for this position, in the flour mill and cleaning house)
- Responsibility for food safety
Requirements To Be Successful In This Position
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Able to pass a criminal background check
Physical Requirements
- This job can be physically strenuous
- You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- You will work at heights
- You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
- You will be required to wear PPE
Schedule
This position works a rotating night shift: 7pm to 7am on Monday, Thursday, and Friday one week, and the same hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday the next week.
Compensation
$20.75/hr and up. Overtime pays 1.5x your hourly rate.
