About the role

The University of South Florida (USF) and Tampa General Hospital (TGH) invite applications for a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with specialized expertise in Lung Transplantation and Advanced Lung Disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care in Lung Transplant Pulmonary Medicine and Advanced Lung Diseases
• Participate in multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Contribute to the academic mission of USF and TGH through teaching, research, and mentorship
• Collaborate with other specialists to develop and implement innovative treatment protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to evidence-based practice

Requirements

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
• Additional fellowship training or equivalent experience in Lung Transplant Pulmonary Medicine and Advanced Lung Diseases

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current medical license to practice medicine in the state of Florida
• Experience in advanced lung disease management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in lung transplantation and critical care
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Interest in academic medicine and research
