FLORAL/CLERK

Responsibilities

• Aid in the design and creation of floral arrangements and other items to fulfill customer orders.
• Package orders effectively, safely, and efficiently.
• Maintain customer records and files.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting items.
• Handle telephone calls and orders promptly and courteously.
• Decorate and merchandise the department.
• Keep carts, tools, and supplies organized.
• Maintain floors, ensure they are clean, safe, and clutter-free.
• Process and prepare flower arrangements and fill balloons.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality, and space allocation for merchandise.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including state and federal laws.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures.
• Work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills.
• Reads shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Multi-tasks, sets priorities, presents information professionally, and works collaboratively within the organization.
• Possesses abilities and skills for effective production, merchandising, and customer services related to the sale of merchandise.
• Able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate production equipment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
