Flooring Installer

The reputable Flooring company urgently seeks an installer. This Jobot Job is hosted by: Ron Calhoun.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation: Remove old flooring, clean, and level subfloors for proper adhesion.
• Measurement & Cutting: Accurately measure and cut materials (carpet, tile, vinyl, hardwood) to fit.
• Installation: Apply adhesive, nails, or staples; install padding, trim, and flooring according to design and manufacturer specs.
• Finishing: Fill joints, apply sealants, and trim excess material for a seamless look.
• Maintenance/Repair: Perform repairs on existing floors as needed.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean worksite and follow safety protocols.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in installing specific flooring types (vinyl, tile, carpet).
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of materials, tools (cutters, stretchers, hand tools), and blueprint reading.
• Physical Abilities: Strength to lift heavy materials, stamina for bending and standing.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, good math/measurement skills, time management, and communication.
