Floor Technician - Tucson, AZ (CRC)

Job Responsibilities

• Performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.
• Strips and waxes floors.
• Top scrubs and recoats floors.
• Able to identify the various floor pads and the correct usage of each.
• Adheres to all organizational safety, risk management and infection control standards and promotes a culture of safety.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance and floor equipment.
• Maintains accurate floor care logs and checklists.
• Operates all equipment with care and according to facility and manufacturers safety standards and procedures.
• Performs project work and specialty tasks according to facility needs, which may include tasks such as conference room set up/dismantle, cleaning of stairwells and elevators.
• Performs other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the position.

Qualifications

• Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience - minimum of 5 years of housekeeping experience and 2 years floor tech experience.
• Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
• CPR, First Aid & AED certification, if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
• Current, valid Arizona Driver’s License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance to meet company insurance requirements, if required.
• Negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).
• Maintains all required employment documentation, certifications and licensure, and ensures that applicable documentation is renewed in a timely manner.
