About the role
Crothall Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full time Floor Technician position at Ochsner Stennis Hospital in De Kalb, Mississippi. This role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment. Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
- Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
- Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surface areas
- Follow proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
- No experience necessary – willing to train
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs
Schedule

Pay
Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
