FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

About the role

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time Floor Technician positions at MD Anderson – 100 Fellowship Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77384.

Schedule

• Full time and part time schedules available
• Monday – Friday, including some Saturdays
• 5:00 pm – 12:30 am

Requirements

• Prior floor care experience required

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large areas of floor surface
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Pay

$16.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour
