Maintain the flooring
- Daily: Dust mop halls.
- Daily: Vacuum carpet.
- Spot mop when busy with other specific jobs.
- Weekly: Scrub halls with automatic scrubber (vct flooring or laminate).
- Monthly: Strip, wax, and buff vct flooring as needed.
- Annually: Carpet cleaning by outside company.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or technical school graduate.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals.
- Knowledge of safety regulations.
- Knowledge of supplies and equipment used by department and the care of this equipment.
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients.
