Responsibilities

  • Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing hard floor surfaces.
  • Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, and vacuums.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain hard floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Identify and address floor maintenance needs to maintain appearance and safety standards.
  • Follow proper procedures for chemical use, dilution, and equipment handling.
  • Maintain and clean floor care equipment after use.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets site procedures and Servicon quality standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and participate in required training; perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ year floor technician experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
  • Extensive floor care product knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of multiple hard floor surfaces (marble, granite, VCT, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of carpet cleaning procedures (shampooing, extracting, bonneting).
  • Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing duties.
  • Proficient verbal/written communication skills (Spanish a plus).
  • Planning/scheduling, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • All employees must be U.S. Citizens and must successfully complete and clear a background check for employment and site badging.

Skills

  • Proficiency in floor care products and techniques.
  • Knowledge of various hard floor types.
  • Experience with carpet cleaning methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially Spanish.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$21.50 per hour

Schedule

4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Every other Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
