Responsibilities
- Remove trash and debris from areas around the facility
- Sort facility waste to ensure proper disposal
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas
- Follow all HHS linen procedures and best practices
- Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
- Auxiliary in the efficient operation of the department
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Effective communication in English and teamwork skills
- Good personal hygiene and neat appearance
- Housekeeping experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Continuous standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching throughout a shift
- Continuous pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors throughout a shift
- Handling chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
- Operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
