This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of all flooring surfaces throughout the facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is committed to creating a clean and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities Clean, buff, strip, wax, and polish facility floorsOperate floor care machinery and equipment safely and effectivelyMaintain carpets, tile, vinyl, and other flooring surfacesPerform routine floor maintenance according to facility schedulesEnsure hallways, common areas, and resident spaces are clean and presentableIdentify and report flooring hazards, maintenance concerns, and safety issuesFollow all infection control and safety proceduresMaintain floor care equipment and report repair needs promptlyAssist with housekeeping and environmental services projects as neededWork independently while maintaining quality and productivity standardsSupport a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff Qualifications Education & Experience Previous floor care and/or maintenance experience requiredHealthcare or long-term care experience preferredExperience operating floor care machinery requiredKnowledge of floor stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing techniques preferred We are an equal opportunity employer.
