Floor Tech, Part-time

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, strip, wax, and polish facility floors
• Operate floor care machinery and equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain carpets, tile, vinyl, and other flooring surfaces
• Perform routine floor maintenance according to facility schedules
• Ensure hallways, common areas, and resident spaces are clean and presentable
• Identify and report flooring hazards, maintenance concerns, and safety issues
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures
• Maintain floor care equipment and report repair needs promptly
• Assist with housekeeping and environmental services projects as needed
• Work independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards

Qualifications

• Previous floor care and/or maintenance experience required
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred
• Experience operating floor care machinery required
• Knowledge of floor stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing techniques preferred
