About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at Avir Health Group. Driven by expertise and guided by compassion, we blend empathy, understanding, and clinical expertise to deliver personalized skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long‑term care services across Texas. The housekeeper’s role is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitary conditions throughout the entire facility in compliance with Department of Health standards, under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager. The position works closely with facility administrators and staff to maintain a safe, home‑like atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other common areas.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash walls and woodwork.
• Wash windows, door panels, and windowsills.
• Empty trash and waste in the disposal area.
• Replenish supplies in resident suites, on housekeeping carts, and throughout the facility as required.

Qualifications

• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
