About the role
Floor care technicians are responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpets, including dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting. Work areas include offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas such as dining rooms.
Perform work duties in accordance with company policies, federal and state laws, local standards and guidelines, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. Attend all company-designated training as required by the manager.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- High-school diploma is desirable but no formal education is required
- Ability to provide and follow oral, written, and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment and conduct themselves professionally and appropriately
- Ability to fulfill all pre-employment requirements as deemed necessary by the individual facility and company
