Responsibilities

• General care of all types of floors throughout the facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, waxing, stripping, and buffing as needed
• Cleaning and maintenance of floor drains
• Disposal of trash and hazardous waste according to facility policies and procedures
• Cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms
• Ensuring all equipment/tools, including cleaning chemicals, are properly stored at all times
• Restocking housekeeping supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap/sanitizer dispensers as needed
• Performing minor maintenance/repair tasks
• Assisting with moving furniture

Requirements

• Minimum tenth grade education
• Prior experience with floor cleaning/maintenance is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
