About the role
CareCore at Westmoreland is looking for a dependable and motivated Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services team! If you take pride in keeping floors looking their best and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 5 days per week, including weekends
- Every 3rd weekend off each month
Responsibilities
- Maintain all hard floors and carpets throughout the facility.
- Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors.
- Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors according to facility standards.
- Complete routine and deep cleaning of floors in resident rooms and common areas.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist the housekeeping team as needed to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
- Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous floor care experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate floor care equipment.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
