Floor PLanner

About the role

An opportunity is available for a Floor Planner to support an analytics-driven merchandising layout process. This role involves using team strategy and financial data to make recommendations that enhance profitability and the customer shopping experience. The position will support assigned stores by executing floor plan changes based on established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analysis to identify growth opportunities by interpreting customer and market behaviors.
• Present analysis findings to leadership.
• Design and implement recommendations that support customer-centricity and localization.
• Optimize space to maximize sales and profits by store.
• Create and maintain planogram assignments in JDA Space Planning.
• Partner with buying, merchandising, space planning, and real estate to ensure strategy alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups on strategy execution.
• Adhere to category release timelines and complete audits to ensure execution.
• Address store concerns or issues with urgency.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related experience in Floor Planning and/or Space Planning. Previous retail experience is required. In-store merchandising experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) Floor Planning, CAD, or similar space planning software is required. Intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are also necessary.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Blue Yonder's CKB suite.
• Retail or visual merchandising experience.

Pay
