Floor Maintenance Operator

About the role

The Floor Maintenance Operator ensures the protection and preservation of floor surfaces to maintain appropriate appearance and cleanliness. A DAY IN THE LIFE describes the responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes proper procedures, equipment, and cleaning chemicals to clean, strip, and wax floors in all areas of the Nursing Home and Assisted Living Community.
• May set up rooms for meetings/functions including audio-visual equipment.
• Maintains supply inventory for Environmental Services.
• Assists with laundry.
• Moves office furnishings/resident furniture as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education is preferred.
• Previous cleaning and/or customer service experience preferred.

• Attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 100 pounds with assistive devices.
