Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience: Lead by example and validate the quality of the in-store customer experience by communicating, training, and upholding expectations on the team regarding Mejuri’s Steps of Selling.
  • Leadership: Maximize results and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by driving your own performance as well as the performance and engagement of the team.
  • Services: Ensure a positive customer experience and promote services offerings including piercing, engraving, and other in-store services.
  • KPIs: Focus on OPH, NPS (85%+), SPH, and STACK Leader Segment metrics for conversion and sales success.
  • Operations:
    • Inventory: Participate in the execution of inventory and cycle counts on a monthly basis, ensuring teams have proper technology and troubleshooting guidance.
    • Order Fulfillment: Support back-of-house flow for in-store sales, phone sales, or BOPIS, ensuring efficiency with packaging and order delivery standards.
    • Storage & Organization: Maintain organizational integrity of back-of-house, including display inventory, sellable inventory, packaging, and supplies.
    • Systems & Technology: Use point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology proficiently.
    • Shrink: Support efforts to mitigate internal, external, and administrative loss of product.
    • Escalations: Identify and escalate opportunities, gaps, risks, and roadblocks with urgency, partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
  • Merchandising:
    • Maintain Mejuri’s brand standards of visual presentation, cleanliness, and functionality.
    • Validate the integrity of all display forms, graphics, furniture, and decor items to manage costs and propel the brand; notify appropriate teams when display tools are missing or damaged.
    • Coach and inform all store team members on updates or changes to Visual Merchandising standard practices.
    • Flag, identify, and action any inefficiencies in merchandising.
  • People:
    • Onboarding: Participate in the successful integration of new talent to our store teams.
    • Assessing: Validate the regular and accurate assessment of team members against performance review criteria and KPIs.
    • Engaging: Build healthy relationships with team members and establish a positive and engaging work environment.
    • Employee Relations: Adhere to and validate company policies and compliance practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Adaptable with the ability to think creatively and quickly.
  • Excellent organization and analytical skills.
  • Critical thinking ability—identify potential challenges and develop action plans.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in alignment with store availability requirements.

Pay

This role has a base pay range of $20–$24 per hour based on a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
