Responsibilities
- Learn carpet, hardwood, LVP, and tile installation techniques
- Work alongside experienced installers as an apprentice team member
- Participate in The Box training system for hands-on skill development
- Assist with project setup, material handling, and site preparation
- Learn proper tool usage and safety procedures under supervision
- Develop customer service skills through professional job site interaction
- Progress through a structured 3-month foundation training program
- Learn subfloor preparation, measuring, cutting, and installation techniques
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Maintain quality standards that earn positive customer reviews
- Handle residential remodels, new construction, and commercial projects
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn a skilled trade
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
