Floor Care Tech

About the role

The Floor Care Technician under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor performs general housekeeping and floor care duties according to departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carries out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Supports a safe and hazard-free workplace through personal safety practices and vigilance in identifying safety or security hazards, including infection control.
• May require a Department of Justice clearance for certain areas, which must be completed before employment or initial presence in the facility (specifically Children’s and TLC).

Requirements

• A minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping experience.
• A minimum of one (1) year of floor care experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to support a safe and hazard-free workplace.
