Floating Teller/Customer Service Representative (Fort Worth, Camp Bowie, Aledo/Willow Park)

About the role

PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Floating Teller/Customer Service Representative to process a variety of financial transactions and assist customers with account-related duties. This is a full-time position that covers the downtown Fort Worth, Camp Bowie, and Willow Park/Aledo branches.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service, including prompt acknowledgment of the customer, maintaining a friendly and courteous disposition, and accurately processing customer transactions.
• Processes a variety of transactions, including cashing checks, receiving deposits, distributing withdrawals, processing transfers, accepting loan payments, and preparing change orders.
• Responds to routine inquiries regarding bank products and services for both customers and employees.
• Offers notary service and performs branch opening and closing duties as scheduled.
• Maintains and balances daily cash drawer, other receipts daily, ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) when required, and assists in vault, TCD, and/or TCR balancing.
• Processes mail, night-drop, and ATM deposits, and scans and uploads documents to be forwarded or uploaded to the appropriate file or department.
• Wraps and bags coin, verifies currency, mixes new currency, and turns-in mutilated currency.
• Opens new accounts and cross-sells bank products and services, and performs general maintenance on customer accounts.
• Provides customer service, including processing address changes, placing stop payments on checks, processing requests for e-statements, and closing accounts in accordance to account/product closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year retail customer service or banking experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products as well as custom applications and systems.
• Must be self-motivated with strong initiative, high level of accountability, and attention to detail.
