We’re looking for caring, experienced Childcare Teachers who are ready to bring energy, creativity, and compassion to our classrooms. We are seeking a Floating Substitute Teacher. This is a part‑time position (16‑40 hours per week); full‑time hours are not guaranteed but may occur some weeks. Flexibility is essential, and the candidate must be able to travel to any three of our ten Cleveland‑area centers (Avon Lake, Beachwood, Highland Heights, Hudson, Medina, Solon, Strongsville, Twinsburg, University Circle, Westlake). Reliable transportation is required, and the typical shift is 9:00 am – 6:00 pm with a one‑hour break.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Bring learning to life through play‑based curriculum
• Support children’s growth, confidence, and development
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families
• Keep classrooms organized while meeting state standards
• Work alongside a supportive and collaborative team

Requirements

• Experience in a childcare setting
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (a plus)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and passion for working with children
• Ability to pass background and health requirements

Schedule
