Floating Cleaner/Floor Tech

Clean Team, a consolidator of leading specialty cleaning services and contractor services providers across Ohio and the mid-Atlantic region, is recruiting a second shift part-time floating cleaner/floor technician for its rapidly growing platform of diverse client locations in Paducah, KY. The goal for this role is to ensure client contracts are met while exceeding expectations and efficiency.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 5pm-9pm (weekend availability required)

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of exam rooms, restrooms, waiting rooms, hallways, and other designated areas within the commercial building
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
• Perform all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting
• Clean and maintain floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning
• Adhere to all organizational safety, risk management, and infection control standards
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on floor equipment
• Maintain accurate floor care logs and checklists
• Operate all equipment with care according to facility and manufacturer safety standards and procedures
• Perform project work and specialty tasks according to facility needs
• Follow all infection prevention practices (e.g., proper cleaning process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions where required with proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE))

Requirements

• Experience in various types of floor care required
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• 18 years of age or older
• Punctual and reliable attendance record
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to push or pull up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand for eight or more hours
• Ability to squat and bend repetitively
• Ability to use a floor buffer, floor stripper, or carpet extractor as needed
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
