Floating Assistant Property Manager
About the role
We're seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the property. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Ensuring efficient operations
- Oversight of supplier contracts and maintenance
- Lease administration
- Monthly reporting
- Resident satisfaction, retention, and full lifecycle activities
- Maintain all accounts receivable
- Complete financial and leasing reports
- Audit records and files
- Process evictions
- Lease apartments as needed
- Inspect buildings and grounds
- Assist with resident relations and problem resolution
- Operate property in absence of property manager
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two to three years of property management experience
- Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities
- Real estate license preferred
- Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system
Skills and Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sensitivity to confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Education and Experience
A high school diploma is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Two to three years of property management experience is required. Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required. A real estate license may be required in some locations. Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or a similar system is preferred.

Pay
$28 to $30 per hour

Skills
Basic level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management. Sensitivity to confidential matters. Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to relay technical concerns with detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to cope with and defuse difficult situations involving angry or difficult people. Must maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
Qualifications
Must comply with all safety requirements. Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
