About This Role
The Assistant Member Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional member experience and advancing our vision to be our members’ first choice. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the branch, guides and motivates team members, and ensures that every interaction reflects our mission and values. In this role, you will coach your team to deliver outstanding service, build meaningful member relationships, and maintain operational excellence. You will also serve as acting manager in the absence of the Member Experience Manager and represent Securityplus in the community. Responsibilities
- Inspire, mentor, and coach team members to provide exceptional service and uphold our CARES values every day.
- Assess each member’s unique financial situation and recommend products and services that directly address their needs and enhance their financial well-being.
- Build strong, trusted relationships by understanding member needs and connecting them with financial solutions that promote security and success.
- Model our commitment to empowering financial security and being our members’ first choice through every action and decision.
- Partner with local organizations, conduct presentations, and participate in events that promote Securityplus membership and brand visibility.
- Help members adopt our digital banking tools and technology to enhance convenience and accessibility.
- Serve as the first line of defense against fraud and ensure strict adherence to policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience (required)
- Two (2) years of banking experience
- One (1) year of supervisory experience, preferred
- Certified Financial Counselor (CCUFC) Designation (required)
- NMLS designation or ability to obtain, preferred
- Eligibility to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS)
- Availability to work Saturdays

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position involves typical office work such as the use of the PC, reviewing manuals and related office papers, the use of the telephone, fax, and photocopy machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, occasionally stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
