Floater Pharmacist

About the role

As a Wegmans pharmacist, you will work closely with leaders and technicians to provide customers with exceptional care and a one-of-a-kind pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns while showing empathy with sensitive situations
• Strive to exceed expectations and provide alternative solutions to problems
• Provide counseling on prescriptions, relaying pertinent information for success and confidence with at-home use of medication
• Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
• Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, and seek continuous improvement opportunities
• Remain current on company wellness initiatives, demonstrating your support to your team and the store as a whole
• Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations, following all company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Pharmacist State License - APhA - American Pharmacists Association
• Certified Pharmacist Immunizer - AphA - American Pharmacists Association
• Frequent travel throughout the entire division where you're hired for and/or working in

Additional details

• Earn a sign-on bonus in the amount of $22,500 (eligibility requirements apply)
• Candidates must be available for the Hornell, Corning and Geneseo locations
• Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business
