Floater/emergency person

About This Role

Mercy Baptist CDC in Conway, SC is hiring a Floater/emergency person to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $12 – $16/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do

• Composing daily parent reports
• Collaborating with staff to assist with 'potty' training
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
• Developing and implementing lesson plans
• Effective communication with the director, parents, and staff
• Ensuring adherence to policies and state regulations
• Creating a clean, safe, and healthy classroom environment

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare facility
• Must be certified in infant/child CPR and first aid
• Must be able to pass a background check and health screening
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Requires the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also require kneel, bend, squat, or crawl
• Excellent leadership skills
• Loving working with children
