About the Role

As a Floater, you play an integral role in our day-to-day operations, ensuring that every dog gets top-tier care and our facility remains in impeccable condition. From feeding sessions to facility upkeep, your versatility will keep our center running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Dog Feeding: Efficiently divide dogs for their meal times, ensuring each one receives the correct portion. Oversee and manage the distribution of food—an activity that takes around 30 minutes each session. Prepare food as needed, tailoring each meal to the specific needs of our canine guests.
  • Facility Cleaning: Engage in general cleaning duties throughout your shift, maintaining a hygienic environment. Ensure a clean space post-feeding sessions. Take charge of deep cleaning the entire facility when required. Maintain cleanliness in administrative areas. Responsible for kitchen cleanliness after each feeding session.
  • Intakes and Outtakes: Execute intake runs, warmly welcoming new dogs to our facility. Prepare dogs for outtake, ensuring they're ready to transition either back to their owners or to another location within our facility. Act as an outtake runner, coordinating the smooth exit of our canine guests. Manage early outtakes as needed. Handle the last let-outs before the facility's nighttime operations or closing.
  • Additional Services: Deliver add-on services for dogs, ensuring they receive all the pampering they're slated for. Handle final add-ons, making sure no service is left unfulfilled by the end of your shift.
  • Breaks: Cover for Player 1 and Player 2 during their breaks, seamlessly taking over their responsibilities. Manage breaks for Player 3 and ensure you take your own well-deserved rest.
  • Miscellaneous: Set up the facility for various operations, be it feeding, outtake, or any other task on the agenda.

Requirements

  • Versatility: The ability to switch tasks seamlessly and adapt to various responsibilities.
  • Experience: Prior experience in pet care is a plus, but we value dedication and a love for animals.
  • Team Player: A knack for collaboration and an understanding of the importance of every role in our facility.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively address challenges with a calm and efficient mindset.
