Float Practice Assistant (Decatur & Sandy Springs)

Job Responsibilities

• Serves as a key team player when interacting and communicating with patients and/or clinical staff in the ambulatory care environment.
• Supports the providers with the delivery of high-quality health care to ambulatory patients.
• Assists in securing patient information and maintaining patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Responds to verbal and electronic requests for information and assistance using proper policies, reference tools, and provider instructions.
• Completes all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications/Skills

• At least one year of experience working in a medical office and/or mental health (preferred).
• Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental health setting (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Excellent computer skills.

Requirements

• Associates or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Some experience in healthcare settings (preferred).
• Knowledge of working at a clinical setting (preferred).

The Practice Assistant is a multi-skilled worker who assumes a wide range of clinical and administrative roles within the physician office setting. The Practice Assistant serves as a key team player when interacting and communicating with patients and/or clinical staff in the ambulatory care environment. Pay

Estimated hourly pay range: $20.00-$22.00

This position is a full-time float position covering in our Decatur and Sandy Springs offices.
