Float Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient

About the Role

Lucas Therapies, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Float Physical Therapist Assistant to support our outpatient clinics throughout the Roanoke region. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys variety, collaboration, and the chance to work with diverse patient populations across multiple clinic locations. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
li>Treat orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, balance, vestibular, and mobility-related conditions
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Accurately document patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the clinical team
• Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time
• Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management
• Travel between assigned clinic locations throughout the Roanoke region as needed
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and support staff to support strong patient outcomes

Requirements

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Ability and willingness to travel between assigned clinic locations
