Float Pharmacist - Community - Northern Michigan

About the role

This onsite Float Pharmacist position will be scheduled 35 hours per week during pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, with occasional Saturdays 11:00am-2:00pm. Candidates must have availability during that time. Locations include: Saginaw, Flint, Alma, West Branch, Stanton, Lapeer, Sandusky, Mt. Pleasant.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in state of Michigan
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualification

• Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment.

Schedule

35 hours per week, Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, with occasional Saturdays 11:00am-2:00pm.
