Float Pharmacist - Community
About the role
Seeking a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This position is based in Kent, Ohio (or surrounding areas) and provides float support to Genoa Healthcare pharmacy sites throughout Northeast Ohio and nearby communities, as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in state of Ohio
- Certified immunizer
- Willing to complete LAI training and administer LAI
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmacist experience
Pay
