Float Per Diem Pharmacy Technician

About the role

We seek a Float Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Colorado
• Ability to use your own car to travel to sites when needed
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy Technician experience and Prescription data entry experience

Schedule

This is a Per Diem role where you would fill in for PTO and call outs during the hours of 8:30am–5:00pm Monday–Friday.

Location

Your home site will be 2675 S Abilene St., Suite 175, Aurora, CO 80014, but you could be asked to cover any of our sites in the following areas: Denver, Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Fort Morgan, Boulder, Thornton, Glendale, Aurora, Colorado Springs, Cañon City, Alamosa and Pueblo.

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 to $29 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
