The Float Mammography Technologist operates x‑ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography‑related diagnostic procedures, maintaining a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique while working across Houston market centers.

Responsibilities

• Operate x‑ray equipment and perform mammography‑related diagnostic procedures.
• Understand, promote and demonstrate the Solis Way.
• Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
• Effectively communicate procedures to patients and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Communicate on an individual and small‑group basis with doctors, patients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated written or oral instructions.
• Maintain a patient‑first focus and exhibit outstanding customer service skills at all times.
• Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB).
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligibility to take the advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two‑year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
