  • For eligible applicants, up to $2000 Sign-on Bonus
  • Schedule: Full time, 40hrs Shift: Requires full availability Sunday-Saturday 7am-8pm.
  • Location: Will provide support to clinics within Sanford, Lake Mary, Oviedo, Waterford Lakes, Central Orlando, and surrounding areas. Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.

About the Role

Extends the Healing Ministry of Christ by extending whole person well-being resources, mental health resources and support, pet benefits, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Maintains education requirements for the position and demonstrates competency through annual clinical competencies and written tests.

Maintains OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance, following safety processes and policies.

Provides whole care to patients during office visits, including intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closure of care gaps.

Maintains confidentiality of employees' and patients' administrative and medical information.

Supports staff teamwork by assisting patients, visitors, and co-workers when necessary.

Performs clinical intake according to policy and procedures, including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.

Affords assistance with minor procedures associated with specialty and ensures accurate documentation at the time of service or results.

Educates patients regarding tests, medications, and diet, providing clear and accurate instructions.

Maintains inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology
  • Knowledge of chronic disease management
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources
  • Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems
  • Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast-paced environments and effectively apply stress management techniques
  • Ability to resolve issues and work independently within the scope of their certification
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, diplomacy and a professional demeanor
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing and typing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements
  • Experience with computers required

Qualifications

  • High School Grad or Equiv
  • 1+ year of related work experience
