Responsibilities
- Read ticket/schedule
- Verify proper skins on line
- Identify defects on materials used
- Hand eye coordination
- Align the top and bottom skins
- Communicate stack quantities to pressman
- Absorb cullboards onto/lift tables
- Remove reject skins off the line onto reject skin pile
Requirements
- Must be familiar with machinery and have good math and measurement skills
- Must have knowledge of proper door sizes, as well as what a reject door looks like
- Must read and write English
- Must have good attendance and safety records
- Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- This position requires high attention to detail
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
- The ability to work accurately, thoroughly and meet deadlines
- This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and be highly alert at all times
Physical Requirements
- Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
- Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
- Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 60-pounds)
- Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
Pay
The hourly pay rate range for this position is 23.54 + shift differential and benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations.
Schedule
2nd Shift 5:00pm-3:30am Monday - Thursday
