Flightline Expeditor

About the role

Provides high-tech level postsales support and service to customer sites and remote sites. Introduces to customer sites when the service required is beyond the skill level of basic field/customer service engineers.

Responsibilities

• Projects future maintenance events impacting aircraft operations using aircraft data.
• Schedules, tracks inspections, coordinates outside support, signs aircraft exceptional releases, and performs other functions as per Interim Contractor Instructions (ICIs) and Sustainment Operating Instructions (SOIs).
• Develops and implements current flight schedules to optimize aircraft and resource usage.
• Coordinates schedules, aircraft status, and issues with the Maintenance Manager.
• Trains government and partner personnel on Aircraft Maintenance.
• Plans and assigns work schedules to maintenance staff.
• Maintains accurate aircraft status boards and performs other duties as directed.
• Selects procedures for ALIS and related functions based on experience and judgment.

Requirements

• 8 years aircraft maintenance experience in flight line operations as a 7-skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or USMC MOS aircraft maintenance discipline or equivalent civilian experience.
• At least 1 year of F-35 aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience with ALIS or IMIS, PMA activities, and understanding of U.S. Air Force, Navy, or Marine Corps Maintenance Practices.
• Knowledge of Maintenance Control, Aircraft Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management, Supply Chain Management, and other relevant programs.
• Experience in developing work schedules and managing employee performance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, FOD, HAZMAT, TMS, Quality, or Security programs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Valid US Passport.
• Interim Secret Security Clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain a Final Secret clearance.
• US Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a flight line driving competence card.
• Capable of working first, second, or third shifts as needed.

Skills

• U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, or U.S. Marine Corps aircraft maintenance experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Operations.
• Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Information System (IMIS) experience.
• Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) activities such as aircraft forms documentation.
• Understanding of U.S. Air Force, Navy, or Marine Corps Maintenance Practices.
• Experience as a Maintenance Controller, Aircraft Production Supervisor, or Aircraft Flightline Expediter.
• Knowledgeable of Safety, Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training Management System (TMS), Quality, or Security programs.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Valid US Passport.

• Full-Time Salary Range: $65,200.00 - $121,200.00
