About the role
HCA's Air Care Eagle (ACE) air medical transport system serves the region and the Commonwealth of Virginia, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The response area includes the majority of Virginia, eastern North Carolina, and surrounding areas. ACE provides rapid access to definitive services for adult and pediatric populations, including acutely ill and injured cardiac, neuro, trauma, pediatric, and medical patients. The aircraft is equipped with state-of-the-art patient monitoring, ventilators, video laryngoscopes, and other technology to support critical patient care during transport.
Requirements
- Paramedic certification (Vocational School Graduate)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
- Neonatal Resuscitation (must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date)
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
- Achieve and maintain Flight Paramedic Certification within 2 years of hire
